With our team of seasoned professionals we are often brought on to a project mid-stream, when the client has identified areas which are failing to meet the expectations of the project stakeholders. In this extremely busy industry too often contractors take on projects they cannot efficiently manage in the best interests of the client.
During project recovery, there are many tools we utilize and provide in order to capture the current status of the project, risks, and opportunities. This allows PMAG to analyze the current state, and recommend an appropriate course of action based on the client and stakeholder needs and expectations. This often requires a GAP analysis, Project Performa, and Risk Management as the building blocks of information required in order to build a proper recovery plan. Once the gaps, financial drivers, and risks have been properly identified, PMAG will build a solid foundation of reporting and documentation to bring the project back into alignment and progress through to successful completion.
This includes cost and schedule management, project plan and charter, design management, responsibility and communications matrix, and customized overall in-depth project reporting committed to working effectively with your full resource team to set an achievable and actionable course towards a common goal.
Building and Code Compliance
In the Lower Mainland and Greater Vancouver area, urban design requirements, variances, zoning changes, public awareness and neighbourhood sensitivity can create stumbling blocks that can put project development approvals in limbo if all the new criteria is not met.
Design and Construction
Design requirements, variances, zoning changes, public demands and architectural control are mandatory requirements and must be considered.
What is being designed, how much is this going to cost, is this the most efficient building for my return on investment?
Application Process
The Lower Mainland is inundated with development applications. Incomplete or inaccurate applications are quickly rejected. We know exactly how to package and present your development applications for acceptance the first time.
Budget, Schedule and Quality
With a shortage of skilled tradespeople and the continual upswing in the construction industry projects are falling further behind, Quality has become secondary to schedule and as a result projects are way over budget. Will your project be finished in time to catch the current market values?
Scarcity of land and labor
Identifying and sourcing both potential land sites as well qualified and capable trades sources has become one of the most challenging aspects today. We can help you secure the best professional trades to assure your project meets your goals.
